Garden Card

Hi all

Back again today (I'm on a roll), well as the title suggests I have a garden themed card for you this morning. I made this to go into my male card box - this never seems to have many cards in - as  it was looking bare after I sent off most of the cards in the box to be sold or sent to people for birthdays etc.

Onto the card itself, the paper is from the Forever Friends collection (cannot find the paper pad at the moment so will put on the actual collection when found), and the embellishments are by papermania. These garden tools toppers have been really great to use and so versatile that I have used them a lot over the past few months, the rest will be given a break for a while so that some of my other embellishments can get an outing.

Happy crafting

Just a note....

Hi All

Well back again after another break - due to logging in problems fingers crossed thats its now sorted! So hope your all well and have been busy crafting while I've been gone.

Well onto todays creation, this is a card that I really loved making, partly because it was so simple and quick to do. I also like how the sentiment 'Just a note' is so versatile. The sentiment was from stash, the paper was by DCWV spring matstack, the flower is a poinsettia (sorry can't remember the company) and the blue ribbon is also from stash.

I had not intended to do the majority of the card in blue as its not the colour pallet that I normally choose , but it seemed to work so I decided to go with it, what do you think?

Off to do some blog hopping. Happy crafting.

Happy Birthday

Hi All

Wow! can't believe that its been nearly two months since my last posting (where the time go??), there is so much to do in the run up to christmas that I kept forgetting to do posts. I hope therefore that you all had an enjoyable christmas and new year and that the weather did not affect your plans to much.

Anyway onto the card, I decided that my forever friend stamps had been neglected recently in favour of my tilda's and christmas images, so when I needed a last minute birthday card I got them out for a play. I am glad that I did, as I love this card, the simpleness of it works really well - what you do think. The stamp is by forever freinds and coloured using my whispher stroke markers and LePlumme II pens, and the sentiment is by DIY Express yourself. the white backing is plain cardstock and the red is the card base. I used a corner post to round off the edges.

Happy crafting, now off to do some blog hopping
