More Silk Painting

                                                                Hi Guys

Hope that your all well and that your all nearly ready for Christmas. I have another silk painting card to show you today. I love this card and really don't want to part with it at the moment - so it may have to be sent next Christmas.

I love the scene that is depicted on the panel and the backing paper I think sets it off really well, although I am now not sure about the red and cream checked border, what do you think?

I'm off and rolling with an easel card

Hi Guys

Wow can't believe how long its been since my last post! Well today I have a twisted easel card for you. This is the first time that I have made an easel card and I am delighted with the result.

The image was made by doing silk painting and I love the it! I painted it using several shades of purple on the flowers and greens  for the leaves, what the picture does not show clearly (and the close up is not much clearer) is the gold outline, which when it has light on it shimmers and shines, as of yet it has no sentiment as not really sure what occasion I want to give it for. The backing paper was from stash.

I'm Back!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

Well firstly, I'm back in craft land! the past 18 months has been really hetic for me with finishing uni, working and also getting some embroidery pieces ready for an exhibition (more on that later), so unfortunatly card making and more importantly blogging has taken a bit of a back seat. Well not anymore I have got my crafting mojo back and will blogging more often from now on.

I will be posting some pics from the embroidery exhibition that I was involved with - having 13 pieces in it was a huge challenge as each on had to be mounted differently - the exbition was great and all the exhibitors work was fantastic, all the comments from the public was well worth that went into each piece.

Any way hope that you are all well, off to do some much needed blog hopping now
