Hi All
Well back in blog land after a weeks break.
This week I have a birthday card for you. I am really pleased with this as I have been wanting to make a card using this paper for ages (its not my favourate piece of paper but its growing on me). The paper is from the DCWV spring matstack, the flower and leaf are from stash (cannot remember company, sorry) and the ribbon is also from stash. The sentiment is from stash.
I added a close up for you as well.

Tilda's Back!!!!!
Hi All
I decided it was about time that my Tilda stamps got an outing - they have been very neglected the past couple of months. This card was made in a rush as it was for a friends birthday last weekend, as I had forgotten until the day that I had not made the card. The paper is from DCWV spring matstack, the stamp is a tilda (obviously!) and coloured using colouring penicls, the flower is by imaginisce and the ribbon is from stash.

Christmas cards
Hi All
Well decided yesterday that it was about time I did some more christmas cards (have done a combined total of 40 at the moment including some left over from last year)
The first two cards used this great snowflake card/paper, I was certainly inspired by it, and was pleased that I had enough to do two cards, but can't remember where I got it from. The emblishments were from stash and I think that the subtle colours compliment the paper the really well.
The next card is another one that I love, its another one of my 'mini cards'. The gold embossed card was part of a christmas inspiration pack that I got from a local craft store. I combined it a die cut image that was from stash (can't recall company, sorry) and thats it. I haven't put a sentiment on it yet as I am undecided on whether it needs it or not, what do you think?

A mini Card
Hi All
Can't believe that it is Friday already. Apologies for lack of posts this week - I had a major deadline yesterday for getting all the necessary forms in for my dissertation project. Now that their in I can make a start on it.
Anyway onto the card, I realised when looking back at previous posts that I haven't shown you any of my 'mini cards' basically these are made from off cuts of card blanks used on other cards. This particular card was really easy to make, the white squares is just plain white card and the flowers are from stash. And beacuse of the size it was really quick to make.
Well off to do some blog hopping to see what you have all been creating this week.

A modern Take
Good morning everyone
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I managed to get some craft time in last night and here is one of the creations. I was asked by one of the people I am living with to make a 'modern' happy birthday card and this is what I came up with.
The backing paper is from stash, the yellow card is actually the card base, the sentiment is from Anita's outline stickers, the mirror is from my embroidery stash and the metal flower and the colour twigs are also from stash. I personally am not sure whether I like it or not, but the person who asked for it loved it so I guess thats the main thing.

Happy Birthday
Hi All
This was the other posting that I was planning to make yesterday, I started doing some more pages for a scrap book I am making and before I knew it was too late to make a posting so today I will be doing two posts.
This card has been a work in progress for over a year, this partly beacuse I didn't know what I wanted to go on it or what occassion it was going to be for. Then a few weeks ago I put the finishing touches to it - still not overly happy with it but at least its finished. The card itself is made up using green cardstock, silver paper from stash (can't recall company sorry, I cut the cardstock down a bit and used the left bit and some of the silver paper that was left over to punch stars out of then applied them to card, mounted sentiment onto the cardstock that was left added some yellow paper and some black ribbon added to top right hand corner. Then using some wire and star emblishments made an emblishment for the front of the card.

Gardening
Hi All
Wow, where has this past week gone, can't believe its friday today - not that I am complaining. Before getting on to the card, last night I had a phone call from my local craft store saying that I had won one of their promotion day prizes of a small scrapbook, a pack of christmas rub-ons and some clear stamps, needless to say I pleased.
I am pretty pleased with this card. The backing paper is from stash, flowers are punched, the ribbon is from stash, the garden tools are by papermania and can't find stamp at the moment so not sure who its by.
Well enjoy your weekend. Hopefully will be able to make another post later.

Retail Therapy
Hi All
Todays card is a bit of an old one - I made it months ago for a good friends birthday who likes to clothes shop. The card was very easy to make as all the elements were in my 'scraps box'. The backing paper and paper strip at the bottom were from stash as was the emblishments and sentiment, the poka dot bag is actually a copy of the die cut bag.
Also sue is having a blog candy on her blog at the moment - use the link in my side bar to go and join in.

Skate board
Hi All
Well I'm back - so much for me posting a card everyday. Can not believe its been over a month since my last post, trust me I have made loads of cards in that time to show you all. I have now decided to post every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (and other days if I have the time)as I have a huge backlog of cards to show you all now.
Anyway, enough of me blabbering on and onto the card itself, the ribbon is from stash, the paper is from the Forever friends collection and the stamp is from the craft barn, it is coloured using coloured pencils. I hope you like it. This is one of the cards that went to be sold (I have since repeated this card twice for different people as this one was snapped up very quickly by someone wanting a boys card.)
Well off to do some blog hopping see you all tommorow

Thank You Card
Hi All
Well have a 'Thank you' card today to show you. Have come to conclusion that I need to start posting daly for a while as I have so many cards to show you (most of which are waiting to be given away, sent or sold). I also had a lovely surprise this week from a good friend of mine who very kindly gave two large A4 boxes full of papers and card from the Paper Mill, along with a book on creating alternate paper projects and also some embossing powders, I felt really blessed to have such a kind friend.
On to the card itself the daffodil was made using some elements from stash (I love the layered look of flower head)gems and ribbon also from stash as was sentiment and paper.
Hope you all have a great day

Baby Cards
Hi Everyone
Well todays posting is a set of cards that are way out of my comfort zone - New baby cards. I made a set of these cards (4 girls and 4 boys) to go into the selection of cards that my friend is selling for me. I really like how they turned out, though next time I might choose a better backing paper. On to the cards themselves, the paper is from DCWV Spring Matstack, the ribbon was from stash and the baby push chairs, picture squares and sentiments were from a DIY card kit.
Thanks for leaving a comment, Happy crafting

Good Luck Card
Hi everyone
Just a quick posting today. This card was great fun to make, I used some paper from stash, the elephent is from magnolia stamps and coloured using water colour pencils and the sentiment is by Inca rubberstamps. I may not be posting for the next few days as their has been a death in the family, but may do if I have time.

Gardening
Hi All
Another posting (two in two weeks... I'm on a roll! lol). This card was made quite quickly, but still love how it came out. The tags are normal postal tags that 'fell' into basket at local craft store, the lettering is from stash (can't remember company sorry.) and the trowl and fork are by papermania (will check.). The tags can be easily removed so that the recipt can use them for tying to containers in shed/greenhouse once they have finished with card.
Well got to go, happy crafting

First card in ages...
Hi Guys
Sorry its late but as promised here is the first of the cards that I have made ready to be sold. I really like how this card turned out. The flowers are by imaginisce, the stamp is a new addition to collection from Daisy and Dandelion and is called 'some bunny loves you...', the green swirls were made using a punch and the gems in the centre of the flowers were from stash. Apologies that it's not right way up but computer would not let me flip it for some reason.
Enjoy your day, now off blog hopping

Some exciting news....
Hi Guys
Sorry for the lack of posts but with exams and then moving back home from uni I have not had much time to craft so looking forward to the break and lots of crafting.
Well suppose you are wondering what the exciting news is (well its exciting to me).... well a family friend has asked me to make regular installments of cards that they can sell on my behalf - its taken alot of convincing from people to get me to do this as I felt that my cards weren't of a high enough standard to be sold but after some convincing I have finally agreeded, and with the first installment being handed over at the weekend I am feeling slightly nervous.... I will begin uploading the cards over the weekend for you all to look at

Floral
Hi Guys
I got some craft time today where I was able to play with some of my stash. I love the fact that this card turned out differently to what I had planned and in fact I think it is better for it. On to the card the flowers are by Papermania, the ribbon is from stash and the floral paper is part of the Forever Friends Collection - the brown swirls were made using some old paper from stash and a punch. I also included a close up of the flower section - though niether photo does the card justice as it looks alot better in real life
Sorry for this being a quick post.
Thanks for stopping by

My first Tilda Card
After months of looking at all the sweet Tilda and Edwin images out there in blog land I have finally decided to purchase some for myself and am so glad that I did as they are fantastic!!. Once again sorry for being absent again for so long but I've had hardly any time to craft the last few months now hopefully that will no longer be the case, as I recently stocked up on craft goodies from a new craft store I discovered in coventry. The backing paper is actually from y stash of christmas papers but I think that it works really well here, what do you think? I have also added some close ups as the picture of the whole card does not really do it justice.
Tilda was coloured using my LePlummeII pens, the tag and ribbon are from stash (sorry can't remember who they are by) the backing paper is by BoBunny and is called 'Tis the season treasure - part of their christmas selection. The flower is from papermania fabric flowers and the brown swirls were made using the new addition to my punch collection.
Thanks for stopping by
